Balancing on the Bridge

Feeling overwhelmed about the state of the world? The landscape is tumultuous (wars, the pandemic, global climate crisis, systemic racism, caring for the unsheltered) and there are deep divisions in values and beliefs. How do we find balance and harmony when the journey ahead feels daunting? Do we focus inward on self-care and spiritual nourishment? Do we focus outward, helping right the wrongs before us? Is it possible to find the right balance and pursue both? Can we build a bridge that connects us? Ancient Jewish wisdom helps point the way. Let’s explore how to integrate the wisdom of the Sages into our post-modern world. Reb Lisa Rappaport joins us to share a message for today. Worship Associate – Merrily Stover; Music – Chris Perske, Technical Support – Emily Greenslade.
