Christine Leistner, PhD is a sexual and relationship health scientist and assistant professor in the Department of Public Health and Health Services Administration at CSU, Chico. Dr. Leistner is passionate about promoting comprehensive sexuality education in the North State and beyond. She is also passionate about addressing local issues including sex trafficking in the North State and serves on the local Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention Commission. This summer, Dr Leistner spoke with us about how we can be allies and support transgender youth as well as talking about issues, and laws affecting the entire LGBTQ community.
