After World II, Germany faced what they had done and began rebuilding on the foundational premise that they could never let it happen again.  American has never griped the totality of its history of slavery or the malicious colonization and oppression of the Native people.  Many are acknowledging America’s history and looking at reparations as one path forward to address past injustices.   What reparations are needed?  Imperative?
